About Country Root Healing

Rooted in peace, whole-person healing

Country Root Healing was created as a quiet place for your system to soften, listen, and remember its own capacity to mend. Here, healing is not something forced or rushed. It is a steady, respectful conversation with your body, your story, and the land beneath your feet.

Whether you are navigating chronic symptoms, nervous system overwhelm, or a quiet sense that something is off, you are welcome here—without expectations, pressure, or urgency.

Founder: Wendy Curry – Holistic Awakening Specialist in root-cause, nature-based, and nervous system-informed healing.

Warm, nature-rooted setting reflecting Country Root Healing

Sessions often take place in a calm, grounded environment—sometimes alongside horses, sometimes in a quiet room—with space for your body to feel, settle, and be heard.

Meet the founder

A steady hand beside you on the path

Country Root Healing grew out of years of witnessing how often people are told to push through, numb out, or manage symptoms without ever being invited to understand what their body is trying to say. The founder’s own healing journey involved chronic patterns, nervous system strain, and a deep longing to feel at home in her body and on the land.

Through study in root-cause approaches, cellular health, trauma- and nervous system-informed care, and nature- and equine-based support, she found that sustainable change came not from force, but from relationship—relationship with the body, with the environment, and with the quieter wisdom many of us have learned to override.

Today, her work centers on walking alongside you—observing patterns, listening carefully, and offering grounded guidance—while always honoring your pace, your boundaries, and your lived experience.

What you can expect

  • A calm, non-judgmental space to share what you are experiencing.
  • A pace that respects your nervous system and your capacity on any given day.
  • Curious, collaborative exploration rather than quick fixes or rigid protocols.
  • Clear communication about options, with room to pause, adjust, or say no.

This work is less about fixing you, and more about supporting you in reconnecting with the parts of you that already know how to heal.

Mission & values

Honoring the body, the story, and the land

The mission of Country Root Healing is to offer grounded, compassionate support that helps you explore what is happening underneath your symptoms—physically, emotionally, and energetically—while trusting your body’s natural drive toward balance.

Root-cause curiosity

Rather than chasing symptoms, we gently explore what may be happening at the root—at the cellular level, in your nervous system, in your environment, and in the stories your body has been carrying.

Whole-person respect

You are never reduced to a diagnosis or a single story. Sessions consider your body, nervous system, emotions, relationships, history, beliefs, and connection with the land as interconnected pieces of the same whole.

Steady, grounded care

Healing work is held with maturity, confidentiality, and respect. There is room for tears, for quiet, for laughter, and for simply not knowing yet—without needing to perform or prove anything.

Healing approach

Gentle, layered support for your whole system

Country Root Healing weaves together several strands of care. Each session is tailored to your needs, and you are always invited to choose what feels supportive and to leave aside what does not.

Cellular insight

We look gently toward what may be shifting—or stuck—at the cellular level: how your body is nourishing itself, clearing, repairing, and responding to stress over time. This is not about perfection, but about understanding what your system might be asking for.

Suggestions may include small, realistic shifts in nourishment, rhythm, or environment that meet you where you are.

Nervous system awareness

Together, we notice how your nervous system moves between states of activation, shutdown, and safety. You are invited to track sensations, impulses, and subtle shifts, always with the option to pause or step back.

Over time, this awareness can support more choice, more space around triggers, and a deeper sense of internal safety.

Nature- & equine-assisted support

When appropriate and available, sessions may include time outdoors or alongside horses. Their grounded, present-moment awareness can offer a different kind of reflection—quiet, honest, and free of judgment.

You are never required to work with animals or in nature; it is simply one more doorway available to you, if and when it feels supportive.

All of these elements come together in a way that is responsive rather than prescriptive.

Your body sets the pace. Your "no" is as welcome as your "yes."

If you are feeling unsure

There is no "wrong" place to begin

It is completely understandable to feel hesitant, tired of trying new things, or unsure about what kind of support you need. Many people arrive here feeling overstretched by daily life, discouraged by past experiences, or simply exhausted by not having clear answers.

You do not need to have the right words, a tidy story, or a specific goal in mind to reach out. Your uncertainty, questions, and mixed feelings are welcome parts of the process.

If and when you feel ready, you are invited to take a simple next step—whether that is quietly reading more about the services offered, or beginning a low-pressure conversation to see if this work feels like a good fit for you.

Whichever path you choose, may you feel a little more rooted, a little more accompanied, and a little more able to trust the quiet wisdom within you.
